He's really a mutant Inhuman who got super-charged when he was exposed to the Terrigen Mists. The first change offered to us is the idea that the Beyonder is not really an all-powerful cosmic god. Secret Wars II is generally not highly regarded, so i understand the impulse, but the mechanism provided here is entirely unworkable for a variety of reasons, and also seems a bit unnecessary some 20+ years after the original mini-series was published and subsequently dealt with. ![]() Doom: Doombot! I believe that this issue of Illuminati was an attempt to provide a similar mechanism for wiping Secret Wars II out of continuity, if you so chose to do so.
